My first competition

I took the step and submitted two of my homebrews into a competition that’s part of the Because Beer Festival in Hamilton next month. I carefully packaged* up two bottles each of the peppercorn rye and Belgian blonde with roses that I made in February/March. I’ve gotten really good response from them, and drinking makes me do the “OMG-I-made-this!” happy dance. While my inner hopeful girl is wondering where to hang the medal(s) they are going to win me, my inner realist is more interested in getting some feedback from the judging, to see how they’ve aged and if there are any faults. …
